Kandolhu Maldives presents its magical lineup of festive celebrations, running from 19th December through the New Year, designed to make the holiday season truly special for guests. Throughout the season, the Kandolhu culinary team will present a series of themed dining events. Highlights include "Taste of the Sea" seafood nights and "Lobster & Sparkling Wine" evenings at Sea Grill, an Indian Thali experience and pan-Asian evening at The Market, and a "Chapoutier Uncorked" wine journey at Olive, featuring wines of character, elegance, and history from the sun- kissed vineyards of the Rhône Valley and M. Chapoutier's European estates. Guests can also participate in a hands-on Ceviche Masterclass at Ata Roa, where they will also learn to craft the perfect Pisco Sour.
Christmas Eve will be celebrated with a cocktail party followed by a magical Gala Dinner on the beach featuring a mouth-watering array of global festive favourites and succulent meat and fish dishes with all the trimmings. On Christmas Day, the celebrations continue with a merry Beachside Buffet under the stars at Vilu Bar.
To ring in the New Year, guests will enjoy an elegant evening starting with cocktails before indulging in a six-course New Year's Eve Gala Degustation Dinner. The celebration will continue with live music and a DJ, counting down to 2026 in style. A special late New Year’s Day breakfast will be served on 1st January to start 2026 in a relaxed fashion.
For those seeking adventure and wellness, the Noovilu sports centre will offer guided snorkelling with Manta Rays, sunset kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding amongst other ocean activities. Varu Spa provides a sanctuary for relaxation with bespoke treatments like the "Rose Indulgent Scrub," a "Muscle Boost" deep tissue massage, and the "Varu Haven" couples' journey.
Cultural immersion is woven into the programme with activities such as a DIY Christmas decoration workshop using palm leaves and a traditional Maldivian Boduberu drum and dance performance.
